These terms apply to Pronounce English, Learn Malayalam, Learn Odia, Learn Amharic, Learn Marathi Fast, Learn Punjabi, Learn Kannada, Learn Bengali, and Learn Gujarati (the “Apps”), provided by Brightwood Apps LLC.
1. Agreement and license
By downloading or using an App, you agree to these terms and the Apple Standard End User License Agreement. Brightwood grants you a limited, personal, non-transferable license to use the Apps on Apple devices you own or control, subject to the App Store usage rules.
2. Educational content
The Apps provide language-learning and pronunciation practice. Translations, pronunciation scores, cultural notes, and other educational material may contain errors and do not guarantee fluency or any specific result. You are responsible for deciding how to use the material.
3. Subscriptions and purchases
Some content requires an in-app purchase or auto-renewing subscription. Apple processes payments. Pricing and the subscription period are displayed before purchase. You can manage or cancel a subscription in your Apple Account settings; cancellation takes effect at the end of the current billing period. Refund requests are handled under Apple’s applicable policies.
4. Acceptable use
You agree not to:
- copy, resell, sublicense, reverse engineer, or interfere with an App except where applicable law expressly permits it;
- use an App in a way that violates law or the rights of another person; or
- attempt to bypass purchase, access, security, or technical restrictions.
5. Intellectual property
The Apps, including their design, software, lessons, graphics, audio, and branding, are owned by Brightwood or its licensors and are protected by intellectual-property laws. These terms do not transfer ownership to you.
6. Availability and changes
We may update, add, remove, suspend, or discontinue App features. App availability can depend on your device, operating system, country, and third-party services. We do not promise that every feature will always be available.
7. Warranty and liability
To the fullest extent permitted by law, the Apps are provided “as is” and “as available” without warranties of any kind. Brightwood is not liable for indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages arising from your use of an App. Nothing in these terms limits rights or remedies that cannot legally be limited.
8. Termination
You may stop using an App at any time. Your license ends automatically if you materially violate these terms. Provisions that by their nature should survive termination will remain in effect.
9. Changes and contact
We may update these terms as the Apps change. The effective date above shows the latest revision. Questions can be sent to admin@brightwoodapps.com.
