Learn Odia is designed to work without a Brightwood account and without collecting personal data through the app.
1. Information collection
Brightwood does not collect personal information, usage data, or advertising identifiers through Learn Odia. Your lesson progress, review history, streaks, and preferences are maintained by the app on your device.
2. Audio and speech recognition
The app plays included Odia pronunciation audio. If you choose a speaking exercise, speech recognition may be performed by your device or Apple services. Brightwood does not receive or store your recording or transcript. Apple’s processing is governed by its policies and your device settings.
3. Purchases and device services
Apple processes App Store purchases and subscriptions, so Brightwood does not receive your full payment-card details. Speech recognition, notifications, backups, and purchase management are controlled through your Apple settings.
4. Support messages
If you contact us, we receive your email address and any information you include. We use it only to answer your request and may retain it as needed for support and ordinary business records.
5. Sharing, retention, and choices
Because Brightwood does not collect app data, we do not sell or share it. You can control speech recognition permissions in device settings and reset locally stored information by deleting the app. Device backups may retain app data according to your settings.
6. Children’s privacy
Learn Odia is intended for a general audience. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children through the app.
